Haha, it made me laugh how hard Japanese graphic anime artists try to portray japanese eyes bigger in the animes. It’s so ridiculous and somehow reveals the insecurity of Japanese about their narrow-open eyes. C’mn don’t Japaneses see it? Have the blacks tried to change their skin color as white as lime in anywhere? Then why Japanese die for portraying their eyes so big in all animes?

    • Xavier says:

Dude, you are being truthful as fuck. Most people don’t notice subtle shit like that, but yea that is ONE reason and Japanese people are infatuated with the Western World.

      • squared says:

Eh doesn’t seem like such a profound idea to me. I highly doubt any of the orient had insecurities involving their eyes before meeting westerners. And since then they were continuously ridiculed because of it.

People generally want to fit in so it makes sense that someone would grow to dislike whatever made them feel different/the cause of their abuse.

Also to address the first comment, yes black people did try to lighten their skin color to enable them to pass for white. For a while even among African americans darker skin tones were seen as undesirable that’s why skin bleachers were created in the first place. Then they went around putting down their own kind.
