There is another series you know, its called Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai. After that is Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei. I hope this helps you fill that hole in your heart left by the end of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.
wow ! the ending was odd, but it was fun to watch and easy to like the people in the show , the twist and turns never seemed to stop! the polt was great involeing both can you belive and can you trust. its was fun to see how humans can act when lead over the edge with fear and hate. I have all respect for the writters , you can tell the pored there heart and soul into it!

THE ANIME ISN’T DONE!!!!!! THERE’S STILL HIGURASHI NO NAKU KORO NI KAI AND HIGURASHI NO NAKU KORO NI REI!!! NOT TO MENTION THE SPECIAL HIGURASHI NO NAKU KORONI NEKOGOROSHI-HEN (also known as ‘The cat killing chapter’)AND THE OVA HIGURASHI NO NAKU KORO NI KIRA!!!!!

I loved the entire anime. I loved the ending. Usually, I can’t stand the thought of anime, but, this was purely amazing. Kudos to everybody who worked so hard on it.

I figured it out… The show was based on the mystery card game they played… I thought of that within the first 5 episodes… I also noticed it when Rena was acting like a detective…

This anime was so good, that I finished it in only 2 days.
Im a little sleep deprived cause of it, but it was SO worth it!
I loved how each arc had a different main character in it. I wasn’t trying to “figure it out” like a lot of other people, I simply just watch and enjoyed it. Im moving on to Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai as we speak, :3
Two days? Feh, I did a marathon. Every single episode of the first season from start to finish in one sitting. What’s that you say? I don’t have a girlfriend? Yeah, I do, and we watched it together. BAM. Nah, just kidding, she couldn’t stay that long, but I could *trollface*
