I’ a little confused, I guess that guy died while she was sleeping but how? Other that it was good, tear jerker and with that said I need to ask…don’t you guys believe in happy endings like EVER?
Yeah I agree with Tammy I’m confused myself.. There is just a lot of unexplained things in this show. Like I get how Ukito’s spirit is in the bird or whatever but how did it get there and what not? And the ending? It just made no sense. I guess Key just makes those kinds of Anime’s especially like Clannad where it jumps all over the place especially at the end so you are like wtf is going on.. This just really confused me.
I’m confused as hell, too, but what I’ve collected is this:
This show is split up into 3 parts. Dream, Summer, Air. Dream is when Yukito meets the girls, who all are connected in some way or another to the “girl in the sky”. Summer is back in time with Yukito’s elder relatives and the winged being who became the “girl in the sky”. It’s pretty much back story. Air is when it becomes a bit confusing. At one point, Yukito wishes he could go back in time and spend every moment with Mizuki. Since the curse says he’s going to die, he forfeits his body and his spirit, instead of transcending to the doll like his mother’s spirit, becomes a crow instead, and he goes back in time. So he’s the crow she finds, and he gets to be with her even after he “dies” like he promised. When Mizuki dies, he takes all the happy memories and flies into the sky in search of the real “girl in the sky”. There’s much more, but I’ll end there, hopefully that absolves any bit of confusion xD

I have completly understood this series, except for the last episode. what was the point of it?
